In our kids' classes, we blend the core philosophy of Tohkon Ryu, the "Fighting Soul," with a child-friendly approach that meets every student where they are. Every class teaches practical self-defence for real scenarios (not choreographed routines), scaled to suit every child regardless of size, age, or ability. Our goal is to show children that they can do hard things.
In every class, they learn to embrace challenges, work through frustration, and take pride in earned progress. As skills improve, so does their belief in themselves, building the kind of internal drive that carries over into school, sports, and life. Instead of hoping they never face a difficult situation, give them the skills to handle one with confidence and control.
Whether your child is shy, spirited, or somewhere in between, they will find their place here. Our experienced instructors guide students through age-appropriate, reality-based self-defence techniques that build coordination, respect, and resilience. In our classes, kids do more than learn to defend themselves. They learn to believe in themselves.
